Alan Braxton is an Asset Manager, where he supports execution of investment strategies across asset valuations, market research, fund reporting, and budgeting. He collaborates closely with the Investments, Portfolio Management, and Accounting teams to drive performance across the firm’s retail portfolio.

Alan joined Newport in 2019, bringing a unique background in commodities trading. Prior to Newport, he worked at Cargill, Inc. in its Grain & Oilseeds Supply Chain division, where he conducted wholesale grain trading, managed a soybean processing plant, and advised over 600 agricultural clients on sales and risk management strategies.
