Josh Kagan is Partner and President of Newport Capital Partners, where he shares responsibility for investment strategy, operations, portfolio management, capital markets, and investor relations. A member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Josh brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience across both public and private platforms, with a proven track record of managing institutional portfolios.

Before joining Newport in 2025, Josh served as Managing Director and Partner at The CenterCap Group, a real estate-focused investment bank, and as CEO of TSCG Investors, an institutional investment manager serving major plan sponsors. He also held senior leadership roles at Equity One (NYSE: EQY), The Davis Companies, and AmCap Incorporated, where he oversaw acquisitions, portfolio management, leasing, and redevelopment.
