Margaret Borja joined Newport Capital Partners in 2016 and is a Partner and serves as the Chief Financial Officer. Mrs. Borja oversees all accounting and reporting functions across properties, funds, and corporate operations. She is a member of the Investment Committee and shares firmwide responsibility for strategy, compliance, capital markets, and investor relations.

Margaret has nearly 15 years of accounting experience in the real estate sector. Prior to joining Newport, she was a Supervisor at RSM US LLP, managing outsourced financial reporting for fund and corporate clients. She also held accounting roles at Lincoln Property Company and Prairie Management & Development.
